Attendee Requirements

This fast-paced intermediate to advanced Python intensive course is designed for those who already have a good understanding and working knowldege of Python fundamentals. The prerequisites for attending this course include:

• Solid Knowledge of Python Basics and abiility to quickly acquire new skills: Attendees should already be comfortable with core Python concepts such as variables, loops, conditionals, functions, and basic data structures (lists, dictionaries, etc.).
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Basics: You should have a strong understanding of classes, objects, inheritance, and other OOP fundamentals. The course delves into advanced OOP topics, such as decorators, multiple inheritance, and abstract base classes.
• Familiarity with Python's Standard Libraries:Basic experience with Python’s built-in libraries (e.g., os, sys, math, etc.) would be helpful as the course moves into using and creating more advanced features, modules, and APIs.
• Experience with Functions: Knowledge of function definitions, lambda functions, and understanding of scope and closures will be useful since the course focuses on advanced function features like closures, decorators, and functional programming.
• Basic Understanding of Concurrency and Parallelism: You should have a conceptual understanding of multithreading and multiprocessing. While the course covers these topics in depth, familiarity with the basics can help.
• Experience with Testing and Debugging (Optional but Helpful): A basic understanding of testing frameworks (like unittest or pytest) and debugging tools in Python would be helpful, although this will also be covered in the course.
