Students learn the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration skills needed to pass the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam. This is an accelerated course meant for those students capable of absorbing information at a rapid pace or those students who only need to fill in selected gaps of knowledge because of prior Linux sys-admin experience.
This Enterprise Linux High Availability Clustering training course is an in-depth course that focuses on two key areas, Linux high availability (HA) clustering and HA storage administration. Storage is integral to many HA clusters so as to make use of clustered storage technologies to enable active/active configurations. Over the course of many in-depth lab exercises, each student will assemble a realistic three-node Linux cluster utilizing best practices. Each node has three network interfaces and each student's cluster has its own dedicated cluster VLAN.The class contains a storage array for shared LUNs among the nodes. This enables students to perform very real world tasks in a real world setting, including multipathing, redundant ring communication, last man standing cluster, and shared storage scenarios. Course topics include: Cluster Architecture & Design, Pacemaker, Corosync, Fencing, Resource Management, Advanced Resource Management, Multipathing, Cluster LVM, Global File System v2.
This Enterprise Linux System Administration training course is an in-depth course that explores installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux systems. The course focuses on issues universal to every workstation and server. Like all Guru Labs courses, the course material is designed to provide extensive hands-on experience. Topics include: installation and configuration; the boot process; user and group administration; filesystem administration, including quotas, FACLs, RAID and LVM; task automation; client networking; SELinux; software management; log files; troubleshooting; and more.
This Enterprise Linux Network Services training course is an expansive course that covers a wide range of network services useful to every organization. Special attention is paid to the concepts needed to implement these services securely, and to the trouble-shooting skills which will be necessary for real-world administration of these network services. Like all Guru Labs courses, the course material is designed to provide extensive hands-on experience. Topics include: Security with SELinux and Netfilter, DNS concepts and implementation with Bind; LDAP concepts and implementation using OpenLDAP; Web services with Apache; FTP with vsftpd; caching, filtering proxies with Squid; SMB/CIFS (Windows networking) with Samba; and e-mail concepts and implementation with Postfix combined with either Dovecot or Cyrus.
This Enterprise Linux System Administration Fasttrack training course was designed to suit for the number of our private clients. It is based on the content covered on our Enterprise Linux System Administration course (with some omissions) and includes some topics from our Enterprise Linux Network Services course.
This Red Hat Enterprise Linux Systems Admin I training course is designed to follow an identical set of topics as the Red Hat® RH124 course with the added benefit of very comprehensive lab exercises and detailed lecture material.
The Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration topics covered in this course along with the ''Red Hat Enterprise Linux Systems Admin 2'' course cover the certification objects of the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) exam.
